They have a passion for everything they do, and have a track record of excellence in each project they undertake. They have earned a reputation for delivering their projects on time and within budget.

Our Team

president
Our founder's broadcasting career began in Oshawa where he was the voice of the storied Generals. He eventually rose to broadcasting the internationally-popular World Juniors. Today, his voice is heard on Sportsnet's broadcasts of the CHL. At the same time, his passion for logistics and production led him to open Mellen Management. He has produced national concert tours for Michael Burgess and Doug Riley as well as charity events supporting childrens' hospitals across Canada. He has produced successful event bids and now works with the Olympic womens' hockey team of China to plan and host annual playing tours in Canada. He is a specialist in training camps and club tours, and works annually with referee schools, hockey camps, and club teams. He is also a lawyer licenced to assist with contracts and event legalities. For your event, camp, or league, Mel is eager to use his decades of management experience to help you.
Alysha DINGWALL
executive director
Our bilingual Executive Director is a principal of Mellen Management and assists in all aspects of the events we produce. She is an expert in graphic design and is a certified Project Management Professional. She has conceptualised and produced numerous sport broadcasts from local leagues to the World Juniors. She has produced winning bids for the 2008 Memorial Cup in Kitchener as well as the 2006 RBC Cup in Brampton. She has further produced national concert tours and charity events. No matter the need, in English or French, Alysha's expertise can guide your project from start to finish.
Pamela FITZGERALD
broadcast producer
Pamela is our specialist for digital broadcasts. She understands radio production and the logistics behind a successful sport or event broadcast. She can arrange interviews, media credentialing, broadcast cue sheets, and ad space blocking. As Mellen's Broadcast Producer, she has played an integral role on the highest stages, including Sportsnet broadcasts of the CHL's Memorial Cup and international broadcasts from Israel and China. Pamela guarantees the success of any broadcast from conception to execution and overlooks no detail.
Marty Williamson
broadcast analyst
Marty is well-connected to the Ontario Hockey League, having served as head coach of the Barrie Colts and Niagara Ice Dogs. He currently manages the Brock University Badgers, and is a senior advisor with the Barrie Colts. He has been our on air broadcast analyst with Sportsnet for many years and can provide insight and analysis for your broadcast when you partner Mellen Management.
Elizabeth Monge
banquet and gala director
Elizabeth specialises in banquet logistics and menu creation. Her attention to detail ensures every aspect of your event exceeds expectations. From catering to centrepieces, audio-visual to seating, and everything in between, Elizabeth's expertise means you can relax and enjoy the event. Whether large or small, she will help ensure your event leaves a lasting impression.

corporate events specialist
Branching out from the sport industry, Deb has conceived and executed many corporate events ranging from golf tournaments to conferences and corporate retreats. She can take care of all the planning from idea to post-event wrap up. She is currently working on COVID-safe, immersive virtual charity events, and can lend her experience to any corporate event now or in the future.
